  • Molecular Magnetism Web

An extensive collection of excellent web pages related to molecular magnetism. Maintained by Jürgen Schnack.

North West Nanoscience Doctoral Training Centre

NoWNano builds on the world-leading expertise in all nanoscience within Manchester and Lancaster universities to offer a broad interdisciplinary doctoral training centre.

    European Institute of Molecular Magnetism

EIMM is a joint initiative stemming from the European Network of Excellence MAGMANet. The institute aims to become a centre of excellence in Europe for research and training as well as a world leading reference in the area of molecular magnetism.

  • EPSRC EPR National Service

The EPSRC EPR National Service provides EPR measurement and analysis services to colleges and universities within the UK free of charge.

Photon Science Institute, University of Manchester

The Photon Science Institute provides an innovative and interdisciplinary environment for research into and the application of photon science—the understanding of how light interacts with matter. The Institute fosters collaborations across the physical, engineering, material, medical and biological sciences to produce high-quality research and knowledge transfer.

    ESF Project: Highly Frustrated Magnetism

The ESF Highly Frustrated Magnetism Project is a joint effort between solid-state chemists, experimental and theoretical physicists to unveil novel quantum states and effects where frustration plays a leading role.

  • Molecular Spin Clusters for Quantum Information Processes

MolSpinQIP is FET-Open project supported by EU in the framework of the FP7-ICT program. MolSpinQIP is designed to prove the validity of molecular spin clusters as building blocks for scalable quantum-information architectures.

Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University

The Institute for Materials Research at Tohoku University has been a pioneer for material research more than 80 years. The Institute was reorganized on May 21, 1987 as a collaborative research institute to meet the current rapid progress in materials science. IMR provides opportunities for the researchers both in academic institutes and industries to carry out cooperative work for mutual benefits. The chance for this collaboration is open not only to Japanese researchers but also to those overseas.
